Trumpet Daffodil Mount Hood

Trumpet Daffodil Mount Hood

As impressive as its namesake, Trumpet Daffodil Mount Hood features huge, 5" flowers that emerge creamy yellow (both perianth and trumpet), but rapidly mature to ivory white. Perhaps the best-known group of narcissus, trumpet daffodils are treasured for their large flowers with trumpets as long as or longer than the flower petals. Growing 14" tall, Mount Hood is ideal for planting in borders, containers and flower beds. It's impressive as a cut flower too. Multiplying freely, these terrific naturalizers have a long blooming season. Easy to grow and deer resistant, daffodil bulbs perform best when planted in well-drained soil and in full sun to partial shade.
